1. Where is your Airbnb reception lobby located in Ipoh Old Town / New Town?
Our dedicated guest lobby is located on the ground floor of Menara Majestic. We are right in central Ipoh, just a 2-minute walk from Lou Wong Bean Sprout Chicken and Ipoh Night Market, and only a 5-minute drive from the Ipoh Railway Station (KTM) and Concubine Lane.
2. Can I drop off my luggage if I arrive in Ipoh early by ETS train or bus?
Yes! If you arrive early at Ipoh Train Station (KTM) or Amanjaya Bus Terminal, you can drop your luggage at our lobby anytime between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Enjoy famous Ipoh white coffee and explore local street food completely hands-free before standard check-in.
3. How do I get to the lobby from Ipoh Railway Station or Sultan Azlan Shah Airport?
From Ipoh KTM Station: A 5-minute Grab ride (approx. RM 5–8) or a 15-minute walk down Jalan Sultan Iskandar.
From Ipoh Airport (IPH): A 10–12 minute Grab drive directly to Menara Majestic.
From Amanjaya Bus Terminal: Take a Grab (around 20 mins) or local shuttle bus directly into Ipoh City Centre (around 50 mins).
4. What famous Ipoh attractions and food spots are within walking distance from Majestic Condo?
Staying at Majestic Condo puts you right in Ipoh’s prime food and heritage zone!
Food & Cafes: Lou Wong & Ong Kee Bean Sprout Chicken (100m), Tuck Kee Noodles (150m), Ming Court Dim Sum (5 min walk).
Sightseeing & Heritage: Concubine Lane, Ipoh Mural Art Trail, and Birch Clock Tower are all within a 3-5 minute drive or 12-15 minute walk.
5. What should I know about parking when driving in Ipoh?
To avoid parking summonses/fines, you must pay for street parking during operating hours. You can easily pay via the Flexi Parking or Park@Perak mobile apps.
Alternatively, if you need assistance, our lobby/concierge team can help pay on your behalf—just reach out to us with your vehicle registration number!
6. Can we host a wedding event or traditional tea ceremony at your Ipoh landed homestays?
Yes! We are delighted to host your traditional Chinese tea ceremony, wedding preparations, or family celebrations at our spacious Ipoh landed houses and bungalows.
Important guidelines for wedding events:
Minimum Stay: A 2-night minimum stay is required if you are setting up an outdoor canopy or tent.
Road Accessibility: Canopy/tent setups must not block the main neighborhood road or neighbor access.
Event Cleaning Fee: An additional RM 288 cleaning and sanitization fee applies to cover extended turnover time and post-event upkeep.
Quiet Hours: Out of respect for the local neighborhood, strictly no loud outdoor music, audio setups, or noise after 11:00 PM.
7. Are kitchen facilities and cookware provided for heavy cooking during our stay?
Most of our Ipoh homestays feature kitchens equipped with an induction cooker, microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle, and essential cookware—perfect for light meal preparation or family steamboat sessions. However, kitchen setups and rules vary slightly by property.
If you plan to do heavy cooking or have specific culinary needs, please check with our team before booking so we can match you with the best property!
8. Do I need to pay a security deposit when booking your Ipoh landed houses or homestays?
Yes. A fully refundable security deposit of RM 300 is required prior to check-in for all our Ipoh landed houses, bungalows, and apartments. This deposit secures your booking and covers property care during your stay.
Following a standard property inspection, the full amount will be refunded directly to your bank account within 24 hours after check-out.
